There is a tsunami benefit concert happening in Vancouver on January 29 with a "special guest" slot still to come.

My rationale for speculating it's the Hip is that Nettwerk/Terry McBride is putting this together, something he helped to do for the Toronto Gig and it has the Nettwerk artists on the bill already ... Sarah, Avril, BNL, etc.

Do you think he called in another favour?

Yah that concert is also here in Ontario! I was dissapointed to see no Hip in the line-up! Uggggg

I looked around, and couldn't find anything. Maybe i heard it wrong, but i still swear i heard they are doing a charity fundraiser in TO area.

Thanks I will keep my ears open. I thought I heard something on the radio about the Hip playing somewhere on Jan 15...but I think I mis heard it, because I haven't heard anything since.
If you do come across something, post a link, cause I'd be interested in attending, even if the Hip don't play.
