That's the exact same file I posted above.

Yes it is, and your point is?

The link you posted didn't work for another user, so I downloaded it, renamed it, and posted it on a different server with new instructions in an effort to help out another Hipbaser.

???
Here's a direct link.

I appreciate it, but that doesn't work either. It's a giant text file to me. I swear I have Realplayer, I just played a video I have saved on my computer with RP! Very odd. It just doesn't seem to recognize that I have it when I try to play the video. Oh well...I can picture it :x
Not sure what the problem is, works fine for others and I just downloaded it again myself. Here's a torrent of her full performance. (19.6 mb)
Man, I'd boo ANYONE who sang as crappy as she does, regardless of whether she lip-synched or not! Tongue :rambo:
You would think that if it was pre-recorded they would make it sound good. But, no, they don't.
For some strange reason the link Chris posted worked but Tommygunn's didn't. I appreciate BOTH of you helping me out. I know it was kinda stupid to make a fuss over something as trivial as this, but anything involving computers gets my back up these days. I just seem to run into more problems than I can list, so it was nice to finally get something to work.
She's young...really young and new to this...

She's really not that bad, and actually does have talent.

Don't be cruel, i feel sorry for her.
Roy, Did you forget to use the *sarcasm* feature?
If it's Roy, the sarcasm feature is not needed. It's assumed.

I certainly hope so!
thats funny
Sometimes I wonder if we're all being taken for a ride....

I read today that the next season of the Ashlee Simpson Show will include the SNL incident ... so presumably we'll be able to see, first-hand, the destructive effects of acid reflux disease ... watch Ashlee agonize before the performance ... watch her bravely struggle to perform only to suffer the derision of people who don't understand her talent ... watch her suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.....

It'll all make for good drama. If only someone had thought to write the screenplay for this heart rending story....

Am I cynical?
Havent seen the disaster vido yet..hehe, but I did hear her performance on Howard Stern..all those ppl booing her Big Grin ...her and Lindsay Lohan need to disappear forever.
There's no doubt that she'll find a way to put all these booing and lip-synching incidents into her "life story" and I'm betting the general public will indeed feel sorry for her and continue to go to her concerts and buy copies of her album, which is really sickening. The entertainment industry assumes that we're all a bunch of moronic consumers who will buy anything they shove in our faces, and for the most part they're right. The majority of people who buy music are only "casual" music fans. Hardcore music aficionados who frequent forums like this one are a minority.

A couple of nights ago my buddy and I were talking about how people don't seek out good music anymore. Even the majority of people who download won't listen to anything they haven't already heard on radio, Muchmusic, or MTV. Last year George Stromboloupolous was doing a speaking tour of college campuses and my buddy ended up having a great conversation with him during his Calgary stop. From what he told me, George's favorite pastime is making mix CDs of quality music and just leaving them in random public places like malls and bus stops, etc... According to George, this is the only way that people will listen to good music these days, because Muchmusic and commercial radio certainly aren't providing it. And I gotta say, I totally agree with him.
