How many Hip t-shirts do you own and whats your favourite?
I have three
1. The Hipbase - which is currently my favourite
2. Music @ Work
3. THC Local Crew T-shirt ( A friend that worked security Aug11 2002 gave it to me)
I think for next one I'm going to order Wheat Kings Jersey.
I saw one on a guy right in front of me at Copps back in '99 that said 'looked up to the Gord above and said Hey man thanks"

My fav t-shirt that i own isn't necessarily a "Hip" shirt but i have (and wear to the shows) is the "Save the Humans" shirt Gord wore frequently in the past (ie Kumbaya Festival, ARA tour, Music w/o Borders. It's a white shirt with a green coloured whale that says in the caption - "Save the Humans". I hope he breaks it out again sometime soon, i think it's a classic.
My fav real hip shirt is the one with the dear and antlers and says "World tour"... they actually redid it for this currently tour and I saw it on sale again.

It's a toss up between my Henhouse Girl shirt (little girl with shades on) or my Gord For PM shirt.

My fav is my "malf" shirt from the Phanton Power tour.

I have the blue Music @ Work shirt with the tree on it, I love that shirt, I bought it almost 5 years ago and it still fits and looks great! I have a really old day for night shirt, my wife wears it around the house, its too small for me now, I bought that one at my first concert in Hamilton 1995. This year I bought the white shirt with the deer on it, its worked its way into my regular rotation, every album and tour I always look forward to the new shirts and hockey jersey's etc etc.....Hip Rules! :thumb:
My favourite is one that I actually had made. Its just a white shirt with the Road Apples album cover grafted on the front, and the inside main photo spread on the back. I dig it. 8)

i have to be so careful when i put them on because they've got so many holes they're barely there

Tales from the Hip winter 99 #1 collectors edition - The thing on the wing (never worn)
98/99 tour green gargoyle on front and dates on back (never worn)
woodstock shirt that has the hip listed, not official but its tiedied and was $30 cheeper than the official ones, and it looks way better than the ones that woodstock was selling
the 1st one i bought in a store that used to be around here that sold band shirts, the other 2 are from concerts, as you can see i don't were my concert shirts, for a while i had all my concert shirts hanging up in my recording studio but i've taken them down recently
my fav would have to be the bowling shirt though, i remember seeing it and wishing i had the cash to buy it
also the purple/yellow jersey is great too
my buddy has a bowling shirt, I think it says crew on it, is that the same one?
Hey Aaron, it think it might say crew on it (1998 was six years ago now!)
I know it's a yellow button-up shirt (I think with long black sleeves & cuffs) and the words TTH are stitched on the back in cursive writing.
its black with yellow stripes
lighting bolt logo with the words:
"A.F.of M. Local 518"
Written around it.
On the back is written "The Tragically Hip" in yellow cursive.
That's the one...got it off an old roomie. Must've missed them when they were selling them on the PP tour...
I haven't bought a t-shirt at a show since the henhouse tour. Actually, that's not true, I do have a Grape Jam T-shirt from the PP tour. My favourite one however is the Baby dressed like Wonder Woman with the sunglasses from the TATH tour.
