I had a great start to the morning... I dumped a whole cup of coffee on the carpet this morning. Anyone know a good way to get a coffee stain out? I am using some carpet spray on the stain. Not much help at all...
i just steam cleaned my carpets the other day, I went to Loblaws and rented one of their rug cleaners, I had to buy this solution to put in the machine and it worked great, just go to a Loblaws and buy some of the cleaning solution, they have different kinds. It even got the blood stains out, (I smashed my toe, cut it open and blood gushed on the rug)
Thats my advice. :thumb:
Salt, sprinkled freely over a fresh stain and then saturated with soda (sparkling) water works wonders. I'm not sure if it will be effective if the stain has set.

As an after-thought, I did a quick Google (I'm somewhat of a pro  ) and found the following:

1. Mix one teaspoon of a neutral detergent (a mild
detergent containing no alkalies or bleaches) with a cup
of luke-warm water. Blot.

2. Mix one-third cup of white household vinegar with
two-thirds cup of water. Blot.

3. Sponge with clean water. Blot.
