When sung by a choir:
What Child Is This?
We Three Kings
O Holy Night
O Little Town of Bethlehem
Good King Wenceslas
Ah, well, I'm not alone, then.
After you've heard a really good choir do "Joy to the world" in four-part harmony, popular Christmas music sounds like the garbage that it is. Choral music is actually pretty cool, especially when backed by a thundering pipe organ.
But the Messiah is still the all-out best. Stunning.

Choral music is always beautiful!!
What is this Messiah of Handel's you refer to? I'm sure I've heard it (title rings a bell), but I cannot place it.
Can you post some lyrics or cite a program / ceremony where it is traditionally featured?

I have to add my two cents (Canadian) support to Mannheim Steamroller. Their version of Silent Night gives me chills
The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is also excellent, I love how they blend rock guitars and orchestral strings together.

The best-known part of it is the Hallelujah chorus.

Yeah, that's it. Good tune and the CD it's on has a very cool Stephen Leacock-esque Christmas Story on it.

X-mas music drives me crazy a few weeks after Thansgiving (US), but one group that everyone should look into is the Roches. They are three sisters that have amazing harmonies and a good interpretation of songs we've heard a zillion times. You can check out snipits at Amazon here:
