Anyone heard this album or seen these guys live yet? My sister bought the CD for me yesterday as an early Christmas present (my family isn't able to get together this year). Anyway, it's a very cool record with a slightly more aggressive sound than the Watchmen. Danny Greaves has never sounded better, and I'm glad he's back at it after the demise of his old band. Thumbs up!

i've been dying since the summer to get my hands on that disc but everytime ive been in canada i havent had time to get to a record store. For some reason its not available in buffalo.
I saw them back in November with Thornley, they sounded great live and the songs were really good, they didnt play for vary long but they put on a good show. So good that I picked the album up at the show for only $10 bucks, its definitely worth buying. I was a big fan of the Watchmen and this band is just as good. :thumb:
Caught them in Ottawa, good stuff, but I miss the more melodic Watchmen work. But Danny's great even though he's pissed off now.

He was pissed off in the Watchmen too though. Looking back, they had some pretty intense material: Boneyard Tree, Run & Hide, Cracked, Stereo, Wiser, etc... But I agree, the Watchmen were more melodic and more dynamic than Doctor. But it's only their first album, so it'll be cool to see how they develop over the long-run. Assuming they stay together that long.

Yeah, but he's more angry on stage now than intense I find... seems more willing to scream than sing nowadays.
