Hi guys,

I know there was a posting about this not too long ago (sorry Jen, I'll search for it soon). I got a yellow lab for my birthday 8 years ago 'n he passed away just a couple weeks ago, so after talking things over with the rest of my family, we've decided to get a new lab puppy.

Of course, the big thing that we're going over now is what to name him (it's a male). We've come up with a few suggestions, but I thought I'd see if anyone here has any good (and possibly Hip-related) ideas (keeping in mind that he's a yellow lab). I'm pretty open for suggestions, but at the same time they've gotta be realisitic, cause I dunno how easily I'll be able to convince everyone that there's nothing wrong with yelling "c'mere Nautical, c'mere".

Phantom is a pretty cool name. And yes, Phantoms can be yellow.

hmmm, depending on how house broken he is, you could nickname him PB aka Problem Bear

Yellow lab? Blonde Solid. And ya can just call him Solid for short.

How about "Gregory Peck"?

My mom's Roti had to be put down this past weekend after a solid ten years. Anyway, ten years ago I named her Cordelia, but everyone always called her Cody......

Not at all Hip related, but the dog we gat a year ago we named Mardi. If we get another one I want to name it Pez. Pez and Mardi...has a nice ring to it.

My wife's cats names are Rocky and Adrian.
My dad's dogs name is Kit (Kitty). You should here my parents call her:
"Here Kitty Kitty" Then the dog runs up.
