Im surprised hes never really been mentioned here....his latest album is freaking incredible! Checking this out is a MUST. (For those of you who dont know, he's the guitarist for the Chili Peppers).

He's releasing 6 albums in 6 months, and the latest release, on Nov. 23, was the 5th of the series. Really, these releases are fucking amazing...He really is a brilliant musician, and man has he got style...

He's an incredibly talented musician with a fantastic singing voice to boot. The 6 albums in 6 months thing is very unique, and I'm interested in checking some of them out. The only album of his I've listened to all the way through is his third one "To Record Only Water for Ten Days", which is pretty damn good. He's definitely the Chili Peppers' secret weapon. Without him they wouldn't be half as good as they are.

I heard John was doing this 6 albums in 6 months thing, but I haven't looked into it much yet. Is it stuff that he's writing over a 6 month span or a lot of it a collection of unreleased stuff that he was working on while the Chilis told him to clean up? I'll definitely look into it some more. Thanks for the reminder!
