It's a great film, with a solid CanRock soundtrack featuring a couple of Hip tunes.
The guys aren't in it for much longer than it took to take that picture, although they do get introduced as The Tragically Hip, representing Kingston.
Any idea why Paul isn't in it? (or is he? I haven't seen the movie... just basing it on the pic)

For the record, I've never seen Men With Brooms....
Paul was definately there for the photo shoot, he's in the photo below.
Also, if you watch the movie closely, you can see Johnny and Gord D. sweeping a rock down the ice just before they announce the rinks....
That was definitely a charming little movie. A well done piece of Canadiana.
I wonder how good they really are at curling? Probably better for all of us if we never get to find out.

Curling rinks (teams) have 4 curlers - Paul must've lost the rock/paper/scissors playoff :lol:
Watched the movie - it was good up till the astronaut part. Found that a bit too corny.
I thought it was Stupid when they introduced them as the hip.. gimme a break, they sould have used from bath ontario or bathouse ontario.
i was in the movie as an extra... and i can say from watching them throw a couple rocks that they werent that bad
I was a fun time though...
