Hey Littleproud, nice pick on the Stars tune. Once you hear that song its in your head for days. Can't get into the rest of the album yet though.
Other songs in my head
Interpol - Evil
White Stripes - Joline (DVD drops in 5 days)
On the Verge - totally forgot how hard that song gets in the middle.
Party for 2 - Shania Twain.... not really. That song is the worst thing I have ever heard. How bout when Mark is swinging on that tire or whatever. Someone should put an APB out on his balls cause he must be missing them.
can anybody say...
NIGHT IS FOR GETTING!!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Smoke Baby..

Amy (Stars singer) is my ex-girlfriend. We had a band together called 16 Tons many moons ago...we even recorded at The Bathouse( I still have a rough mix tape of Phantom Power, with "Fireworks" listed as "Bobby Orr"). I am glad to see her doing so well. That song is just so damn hooky.
Song of the moment right now: "It Makes No Difference" - The Band.
well, can't say I have a song of the moment...........but I would have to say I am still not sick of Vertigo................the stereo gets turned up everytime I hear the opening of that..........
Beyond that I typically have an "album of the moment", I usually dig through my CD's and grab one I haven't really listened to in a while. Right now I would have to say that would be The Stones "Vodoo Lounge". I really forgot what a great album that is, probably the best since Some Girls IMO. Some great tunes on that, its been stuck in my CD player a couple of weeks now.
U2 - Fast Cars
Pearl Jam - Yellow Ledbetter
Led Zep - The Ocean
u2 - crumbs from your table
As Makeshift As We Are.
It is so hard for me to get past that song to the rest of the cd.
Just a little obsessed right now. I hope I don't ruin my cd
Hip songs "du jour":
Fully Completely
Yawning or Snarling
Apartment Song
Others:
Cuff the Duke - The Difference Between Us
Green Day - Boulevard of Broken Dreams

No way! Very interesting. I got to see the Stars when they toured with BSS. Although BSS was amazing I thought the Stars stole the show. Elevator Love song is another wicked tune. The Ageless Beauty vidoeo is actually getting some airplay.
the used - take it away
minus the bear - absinthe party at the fly honey warehouse
postal service - brand new colony
hotmetal401, I love your list. I've been a real Jimmy Eat World kick the last year (mostly old stuff, like the stuff from Clarity) and I just bought Elliott Smith's last album last week. It's pretty cool... but Between the Bars is still my fav. Elliott Smith song.
Littleproud, The Way We Get By was permanently playing on my comp last spring... love that song.
As for me, I'm on a massive Interpol kick right now. If you haven't heard them yet, check out Obstacle 2 or PDA. I'm really into Hands Away right now.
Let me add: "Water or Gasoline" by Blackie and the Rodeo Kings... The drum line just about pushes you out the door, good for a Friday night.
"They don't know me baby, they don't know what I'm livin' for..."
I have been listening to Antics by Interpol for a while now...I can't say it does for me what the first album did, but it is still a good listen.
