I am having some trouble here. What would you buy a 17 year old girl for christmas? I got my cousin in my Mom's side of the family christmas draw.

Any ideas please
My aunts and uncles always favored getting me gift certificates to places like Barnes and Noble, or Borders or some such thing, and putting them in a picture frame, or the front of a scrapbook. I always thought it was a good idea! Hope this suggestion helps. :thumb:

Are you two close? If not I would suggest a gift certificate from a trendy store like American Eagle or La Senza. I get them for my teenage nieces and they love them.
OOPS!

Jenna must have posted while I was typing mine. What can I say? We women think alike.....

I always loved getting gift certificates! Still do! :-D

suggestions for places:
Movie theater
restaurants
the local mall, I know the mall in back home has gift certificates for the entire mall

tickets to a concert
tickets to a sporting event

A CD is always good too!

You could also get her a visa gift card!

mmmmmm La Senza...*Homer drool* Wink
Do you have a spending limit amount for this gift?
I've got a fourteen year old cousin whose really into Marylin Manson. I bought a 2 foot Teddy Bear, put some garters, leather gloves, a spiked collar, some white face paint and some red lip stick on it... done. That'll also work if your Grandma's into S&M.

My ex used to work there, after four years, it all starts to look the same... but here's a tip fella's: never, ever, ever actually say that.

Confusedhock: Confusedcratch: In the 10 years she's bought things from there I don't think I would even think that let alone say it. Guess I'm easily distracted Wink
