I have to agree, it really was that kind of a show....I was left totally mesmerized.
Hilites: Poets and Boots
Lowlite: The young(er) girls purposely standing in front of the lady with the wheelchair in the front row.
All in all, I can't wait for the live download (and x-fingers that someone will post the entire show on video)

"and disappointing you is getting me down"
Outstanding article. Thanks for sharing it, especially with those of us "down south".

One of the best HIP concerts ever. Great venue! The article forgot to mention that Gordie's microphone was posessed or at least had us convinced that it was (I was at the Canada Day Toronto gig where the mic shtick all started, it has evolved nicely), Gordie fought with the mic stand, got tickelled by it at one point and sang into a mic-less mic-stand at one point after it had fell, but the best part was when he said, "Let me hear you say so much as one word without me, go ahead" *Gordie walks away and stands with his arms folded and waits, a huge pop from the crowd, Grodie runs back to the mic and yells: "That was you! It wasn't him! He's not a man!"*

That's been one of my favourite bits this whole tour... and last nights version was Gold.
