Any native Nova Scotians know a good hotel near the Metro Centre. The only ones I can think of are the Sheraton and Lord Nelson. Are there better deals? Any help would be appreciated.
Try the Citadel Hotel. It is literally a half a block from the Metro CEntre. Reasonable rates, as far as I know. You can also try the Casino Hotel, but it may be a bit more pricey.

There's a Holiday Inn at the Willow Tree on the other side of Citadel Hill...probably a 15 minute walk across the Commons from the Metro Centre (or a 3 minute bus ride on the #6!). Probably a lot cheaper than the downtown hotels.
citedal is where i usually stay. everytime we price check around and thats always the cheapest.
there is a tourism conference (<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.tians.org/Conference/">http://www.tians.org/Conference/</a><!-- m -->) that i might be attending during that period and there is discounted rooms for that at (<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.tians.org/Conference/accom.htm">http://www.tians.org/Conference/accom.htm</a><!-- m -->), maybe try saying you are with that and getting a good deal.

There are a few ways to acquire shows that fans have recorded, and they all require patience.

Regardless of the method, wait at least two weeks before asking for a show. And never, I repeat
never, ever assume that you are owed a show, or that you deserve a copy. Tapers do what they do as a hobby, and as such, you can only expect so much.

After the two east coast shows, the recordings will make their way to my lab* in Toronto where I'll distill them down to something manageable, I'll assemble all of the fan photos that I can, put together some snappy menus and slideshows, pick the music, and then encode it and burn it to DVD. After the tapers have seen the finished product, you'll be able to find it
here.
That is, if Rory hasn't come up with a new plan.
*My lab is actually just my apartment. :lol:

I'll be in forth row to the left seat 14...so right on the isle. Anyway my uncle is running the setup for concert and he was telling me yesturday to date they have only sold 1300 tickets, its kinda a shame cause they haven't been here in like 5 years, but what can yeah do, they'll probly pick up this week. It will be a great show none the less, saturday night is sydney, we'll make it rockin'. See yeahs there.
1300 tickets? Seriously? Didn't someone say they ended up in the rafters? How do you get seats that bad in a 10,000 seat arena with only 1,300 seats sold?
