Does anyone know the Hips offical taping policy?
I am working on a getting The Hip on <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.archive.org/audio/etree.php">http://www.archive.org/audio/etree.php</a><!-- m -->
They have amazing fast FTPs and tons of space. This would solve alot of problems.
That would be great if they were on there, I d/l a dmb show i went to last year from there and i couldnt believe how qucik it was. I'll keep my eyes open for a taping policy...
I am, probably going to email the Hip about it. We will see what happens.
I already have, just waiting on a response....
Ok, Great
Thanks!
Hey Lance this is what they sent back......

Taping for fine for personal use.

TTH

i can send you the email if you like?
haha
I don't think that is going to help.

They must have something offical on paper. That is what they are looking for. One sentence is not going to cut it.
Since you are familiar with etree, should i leave the ball in your court?
This is the best I can find online

from <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://btat.wagnerone.com">http://btat.wagnerone.com</a><!-- m -->

Since the summer of '98, they have been allowing daud taping. The sound man's name is Mark Vreeken. If the guys at the door give you any problems with getting your taping equipment in the door, ask to see Mark Vreeken and he will get you in the door with your equipment.
This policy is current and up to date as of Dec. 23, 2000.

I will submit the info to archive.org and see what happens.
I've got my fingers crossed
good work lance
any news/updates?
Nothing, didn't even get a email back from The Hip.
Hey Lance when I emailed them it took 3-5 days to hear back from them so lets hope they are just slow
I just searched my emails and I emailed them November 20th.
Lance, was that you that posted the 2 shows from 1990?
