I've noticed lately, that there are many, many fans just like us, that do not use the hipbase or the internet openly.

Why is that? I saw (in Calgary) at least, 15 people with digital cameras. There was a guy in the 2nd row, with a sweet camera, must have had a 6x optical or something. So where are those pictures?

And then at the end there were about 20 people waiting for a copy of the setlist, well if any of them got one, why haven't they posted?

If each row had 40 seats, let's ay the first 10 rows, that's 400 people all on the internet getting tickets the second they went on sale.....

Why aren't these people here at the Hipbase?

I must have mentioned the hip base to at least 10 people after the show in Clifton Park and I even gave one of them my email address.

I've heard and seen nothing of them since.

It drives me nuts for bootleg collecting, too. At the last Halifax show I saw TWO people in the front row with me who had audio recording gear, but the shitty bootleg that's circulating sounds like it was recorded in the rafters.

It's just not everyone's bag... I've got a couple freinds who are diehard hip fans. They know about the hipbase and visit once in awhile, but they're not into message boards and don't spend anytime here.

Each to their own.

There are A LOT of Hip pictures on webshots.com I don't know if any of you are members. They are mainly live pictures taken at various concerts. Some are really far back, but others are right up close. I've got a ton on my computer.

On the Hundredth Meridian there's a folder with what must surely amount to THOUSANDS of pics.
