That is two consecutive shows without Josephine, which in my opinion is the best song on IBE and a great song live.

God I hope it makes the setlist in Calgary or Saskatoon.

Is Josephine not one of the best 4 songs on the album? Let me know what you think

Stickboy (Jesse)
Josephine is by far my favorite song on the album. Well at first it wasn't it took me a few times to get used to it. I heard it live in Syracuse and I fell in love with it. So that next week it became me "favorite" ya know the song you listen to over and over again, in your car, in the shower. etc. you get the point. Then one night my friend and I were walking back from the parking lot late at night. We looked up at the sky and saw the Nothern Lights!!! go figure they were a shade of blue/green. So needless to say yes I love that song and I hope you get to hear it soon.!! :thumb:
Not my favourite. That would probably go to Gus. But, it would be in my top four definitely. Probably Gus, Heart, Joe, and Mean Streak would be my top four.
Josephine is my favorite also!! Im going to London, Im really hoping they play it there!!!
I love that song, Heaven is the only song I would rather hear live.

Joe is a GREAT song, it's my fave song on the album and awesome live!!!
It's a tough call, but I would probably go with Joe as my favourite song on the album. Hopefully they will play it in Toronto! :thumb:
Joesphine is one of my favorites, along with Gus and Family; all of which are amazing live.

I would have to say that Joe is by far my favourite song on the disc. I find it quite reminiscent of older Hip songs. It is a prime example of the master lyricist Gord at the top of his form......".....surrounded by the days plans, eyes flickering, trying to let a coffee cup warm her hand..." - Beautiful!

man...couldn't you come up with another name?
There will be great sadness if they fail to play Josephine in Montreal next month... however, we predict that if such sadness should come to pass, it shall be cushioned by many other great songs so I should be ok, no need to send flowers.

let me weigh in with my important comment that Josephine absolutely rocks!

love it,

I think it's hilarious how many people lately have gotten irritated that there's a clone out there. Pick a song title and it's BOUND to happen!

I'm jealous, my brother and I saw 4 shows this summer and never saw Family, my personal favorite off IBE.

Josephine- not my favorite, but it did grow on me. I don't think it makes my top 4, but it's close.
Let me offer a dissenting opinion... Josephine is a good song, but IMHO it doesn't rank up there with the rest of IBE. It sounds a bit like it was tossed off at the last minute, like they couldn't quite figure out how to end the album right.

Instead, I hope in Toronto that they play Are We Family... that is a great song and it would be great in an encore setting, since they like to play a slow song and lead it into one of their huge hits in encores.
