Do you guys invest in strategies for water conservation as well as cleanliness and access? Just curious because conservation came up just a couple of weeks ago here on the board...
We deal with both conservation and pollution - there are waterkeepers right across the country and each region is a bit different. generally, we promote sustainable use in every area. In the Great Lakes we really focus on contamination and cleaning up the water supply - the idea is that, if people respect the importance of clean water for our cities and towns, they will make smart decisions about who gets what and how much in the future. If we figure the lakes can be polluted forever, then it's unlikely we'd ever truly conserve, either.

I was at the Hip concert, and I went to the Waterkeeper stand. I met the Fraser Riverkeeper which I didn't even know existed. They said that the Hip are really behind the Waterkeeper cause, which is all about clean water and its importance to the communities.
Are the Waterkeepers going to Kelowna???
