I've posted this in a couple of threads, but figured I should make it "Official" by starting a new thread... so that people who search before posting will find it.
We've added a memorabilia site to hipfans.com. Check it out, sign up, and post your memorabilia.

Hmmmm.... I'm surprised that no one has responded to this thread, and that only a few people have signed up for the site. Further to that, no memorabilia has been posted except for the magnet I posted to get things started.
Is it that the idea is unfounded, and unwanted?
Is the site not working?
Any feedback is greatly appreciated as I don't want to keep working on something if no one is going to use it.
I will throw some of my stuff on there Chris.
I just have to take the time to scan some stuff.

I figured with all the talk on here lately of Hip Memorabilia, and the suggestions for a Memorabilia site, this would be a natural fit.
I'm just working on putting up my favourite Hip thing: a subway banner ad for 102.1 The Edge in Toronto that reads:
Traded a kidney for Tragically Hip tickets.
Again.
(There is an arrow pointing down, intended to point at one of the passengers.)

I've started posting some things on the website and noticed when you submit an item under the Signed memorabilia section, you are not prompoted for a sell item box or submitted by box like the Un-signed items area.

I just updated the field options for the signed stuff section.
Are there any other fields that should be included for each item?
Please let me know, and I'll get them added.
We can add up to 7 more fields.

Some suggestions;
"Asking Price" (For the items that may be for sale)
"
Original Price" (For the items that aren't for sale... or are)
"Condition" (For those possibly interested in selling or buying items)
These aren't exactly required now because no one seems to want to sell any of the stuff they're putting up there. But maybe in the future, people will want to? Just some thoughts, man. I said it before, I'll say it again; wicked idea.

Gotta make time to shoot the pics & upload 'em. Holidays and year-end business activities are too time consuming. Pics are a pretty simple matter, I know, but I'd rather present something better than a few "this is my stuff" pictures...
