its too much of a risk to start giving out the password randomly to people just because they want it. this is supposed to be a SECRET password for hipclub members. it should not be given to anybody who has only joined the site for the password (you will notice that this was his first post).
I completely understand people not giving out the password. I did not receive it but I did not ask anyone on the board for it. Although I would really like to know what it is to get my tix before Fri, I know there still will be some on Friday hopefully I'll get something good and thats it.

aww shit...i checked TM every day for the past 2 months for this show, was too busy in the past 4-5 days...now ive missed it. Lets hope there are some seats left for the public sale...no pswrd here...

Uh yea, it was my first post, but as you can see I signed up 2 months ago in September 2004 - I like to read the posts. So no, I did not sign up just to get the password...how would I even know this site has the password? You can't read the threads until you join...plus if I'm interested in going to the show, don't ya think I would have joined thehipclub? I joined the hipclub when IVL came out but the last 2 shows I haven't gotten the passwords, actually the one at the ACC I got about 4 days into the pre-sale, but this one I haven't...I got all the ones for the US dates tho
Anyway, I know a lot of ppl don't get the passwords on time - 2 of my friends are hipclub members and they didn't get the password either...I look forward to the show when you don't get the password and no one helps you out...thanks again to the dude that helped me, anyone need it, just PM me. I have more faith in hipbase members than hipclub members. If I was going to join a club for scalping it would be the hipclub and not a forum. Lighten up and have fun...

Just to add, I have been a hipclub member since IVL came out, and I also did not get the password for the NYE presale. I don't think it is fair to assume that someone would join just to get it...
Besides, there are probably 18,000 tickets to go around- more than enough for everyone! People who received it were lucky, but what if the tables were turned? There is something huge to be said for helping other people...even for something as trivial as a ridiculous password!

I have also been a member of the hipclub since IVL and I recieved no email. I have been recieving them for shows in the recent past but got nothing for this one. A little confused about this one.
