While I agree that it was a good shot, I'm surprised by the outpouring of public ridicule at my expense. Especially considering that I did do a search, and the topic did not come up. Please go ahead and try a search for yourselves. Type in "Shoot For A Cure" and select find all terms; this is the only thread it returns.

If bashing other users is what we're all about here, I'm leaving. (And seeing as how the site owner continued it.... )

Sure, you're correct. This is the only forum that comes up.

I thought it was funny though. I've seen you borderline harass MANY people about searching and other things as well. I appreciate the great work you do with your videos and stuff but you come across as being very anal. I guess I can't say don't take offense after a comment like that, but I'm just being honest. Sometimes you can be a bit prickly to people.

I think those comments were made in good humour, not ridicule.

I am sure those people weren't out to hurt your feelings.

I'm more than interested to see where I have been on the borderline of harrassing MANY people on multiple topics, as you've pointed out.

Now I'm not going to be a suck and take my ball and leave, but really, this is pointless. I'm all for a good jab, especially when the person deserves it, but in this case it's unfounded.

IMO internet forums are a great place until users think they know one another based on the content of their posts.

I don't see where anybody is "bashing" you. It was funny, so people laughed. You yourself gave one of these ( ), which gives the impression you thought it was funny yourself. Anybody with a sense of humour would think it was funny... :lol:

Some of the more sinister people among us would think the way you reacted to other people laughing is even more funny than the original chuckle. :wink:

I did think it was funny, although incorrect. It's the fact that others felt it necessary to post their "laughter" after I had acknowledged my apparent 'blunder.' I guess that stopping and laughing at someone while they're down turns me off. If that makes me anal, or lacking a sense of humour, fine. :thumb:
