for the last two days, no matter what computer i'm at the screen freezes everytime i check my inbox....arrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhh

i keep waiting for that 250 MB everyone else seems to be getting. I have not gottee mine still.

I don't care for hotmail either. I got an account there for something to do. I only have a few mb's of space in my mailbox available. The last thing I'll do is pay for an email account to increase the available space.

I have some invites for Gmail if anyone wants one.

Me three...unfortunately, I have an adress list of over 800 people, and I am too lazy to change. The Gmail is good...I just started a new account through them. I have invites, as well.
Hotmail won't even let me check my emails today. Craptastic!

Hotmail folks, ya gotta move to Gmail. It kicks total ass. If anyone is looking to get a Gmail account, I too have spare invites. Just PM me with your email address.

You're not alone. I can't check mine from home but I can from work. I have another hotmail account that I can check from home or work and it doesn't lockup. Must be the server that has that particular account on it.

It's okay but it doesn't kick "total ass". First off, it won't accept attachments from hotmail accounts nor will it accept any emails from sympatico accounts (last I checked).

What good is an email account if I can't accept emails from other people with particular ISPs or hotmail? Not very :x

I've been using Hotmail for years for joining web pages, anything really I suspect I'll get on a mailing list with. I haven't experienced any of the problems any of you seem to have, and recently got my inbox expanded to 250mb. I also have a G-Mail account, and am starting to use it for the same purpose. I think I still prefer the Hotmail, especially with the expanded inbox, but again, it has been trouble free for the most part.

I agree. But the Hotmail increase is a free upgrade for everyone. Or so I thought.

Canada.com has been real good to me. FOUR YEARS and I've never received unsolicited junk mail. NEVER. I can't go four minutes without Hotmail selling my address to someone.

Huh? I've had zero problems with attachments from Hotmail accounts (check yer virus protection software - that might be your issue) and I've certainly had no problem getting emails from Sympatico accounts (most of my family is on Sympatico).

Gmail has easily been the best email software I've used - web or desktop.

I don't rely on Hotmail, however use it to sign up for things on the web. My account had been displaying "error on page" in the status bar. I had to download MSN explorer, and use that browser to check hotmail.

How come only certain people got the free 250 MB upgrade? I have yet to see mine.
