I don't know about the rest of the state, but on the western end we all voted to send 'em all back to Albany.

Did everone forget these are the same people who took record length of time to put a budget through? The same people that are destroying upstate NY. The same people who continue to ensure we are the highest taxed state in the country. The same people who ensure that we will continue to pay more per person for Medicaid than Texas and California combined! How about special interest groups? Don't get me started! I don't care about party affiliation. Just get rid of 'em all and start fresh.

When is this state, err... the whole country going to realize that in order to change and make a better government, we need fresh blood. But no, we are all (obviously not all, but the majority) content with the status quo.

How come Bush managed to get elected on tax cuts the nation can't afford, but your state re-elected the government for saddling you with taxes YOU can't afford? Either I'm not getting something, or there's nothing to get. At least y'all had the smarts to give Kerry your electoral votes. Fat lot of good it did him.
