Did you know that since 1936, the result of the Washington Redskins' last game before the election has accurately predicted the outcome of the election? Each time that the Redskins' have won, so has the incumbant, BUT, each time the Skins have lost, a new President has been elected. kinda weird eh...
WAY TO GO GREEN BAY FOR SMASHING THE REDSKINS! WHOOOOOOOOOO! :thumb:
Well lets hope history changes.
I agree, every "factoid" like that eventually has to turn out not to be true, and since the Packers are my favorite team, I say it just means absolutely nothing that the pansy Redskins got whupped

ATTN: BUSH-SUPPORTERS...
*in my best Hank Hill voice* GET THE HELL OUT OF MY THREAD YOU DIRTY BASTARDS!
Man, I don't know who takes the time to look this stuff up. There are so many stupid things people claim "predict" elections. If the wind is blowing fron the West on the second Thursday before the vote, the President wins, unless there's a full moon, and then the challenger wins. If a mystyerious picture of Jesus appears in an oil stain on a parking lot, the President wins. If it's a picture of Churchill, the challenger wins.
In nearly the words of Neil Young..."I don't know for the life of me where [they] ever come up with this stuff."
anyone else get really concerned about the state of the world should bush win?
Been concerned about it for 3 years 10 months already...and to think when he took office my biggest worry was the ENVIRONMENT...how idealistic those days seem now.
It's so depressing to think he might actually win. It's goddamn close, that's for sure. This is not his election to win, it's Kerry's and the Democrats' to lose. If they can't pull off a victory with everything that's gone wrong over the past four years, they better take it back to the drawing board.
The Dems could have easily won this election if they had chosen a moderate like Lieberman, Graham or possibly Wesley Clark (though I think he's even more of an opportunist than Kerry when it comes to straddling the fence), but they have their left wing factions that have a stranglehold on the nominating process. and yes, I know the same accusation can be made about the Republicans and the Christian coalition...but the great thing about this country is we can argue, scream, accuse and point fingers at one another with out having to resort to the military coming in and taking over or having the political process melt down into sheer bureacratic inertia and sloth.
Every president elected in a year that ends in zero has died in office, with the exception of Ronald Reagan, who was shot while in office.
Where is Lee Harvey Oswald when you need him?

I have been concerned for a long time now but it will def escalate to a new level if Bush isn't voted out. I still don't understand how this can be a close race???? Is everyone awake out there??????
Way too many STUPID people in this country, force fed shit by crooked media, and they believe it all.
All undecided voters and Bush supporters read this before you vote:http://www.canoe.ca/NewsStand/Columnists/Toronto/Eric_Margolis/2004/10/31/694068.html This shares some insight on the state of the world should bush win the election.
