Ahoy, just wondering if they do cure a hang-over as well as I heard they do Smile I'll be in Edmo for the gig and was wanting to try it out while in town, anyone know a good one to go too?
I wonder how much that costs and how much of a hit of oxygen that you get?? I just recently heard about those places...
I assume it would be 100% O2 via non-rebreathing mask
Perhaps I'm dating myself but when I heard of these places I always think back to when I watched Sesame Street and that shady looking guy would come up to Ernie, open his coat and say, "Psst...ya wanna buy a bottle of air for a nickel?" Then Ernie would exclaim, "A NICKEL!?"

Memmmmoorriieeeeeessss. Smile

High
I have an idea that requires up-front investment but pays for itself in the long run...leave the big stinking filthy cities for the clean air in the mountains! Seriously, oxygen bars? Halifax just got one and I can't wait to dance on its proverbial grave when it collapses. New age yuppie bullshit...

Most of the "pain" associated with a hangover is from dehydration, so why not drink a couple of big glasses of water before you pass out/go to sleep for the night. This technique worked for me a as a professional drinker during university, and now as an adult. Smile

Here's and FDA article about these bars: http://www.fda.gov/fdac/features/2002/602_air.html

My favourite line from the article, "people have nothing to gain by frequenting oxygen bars, and subject themselves to unnecessary risk," ...
Thanx Folks....
