My take on it is Gord is alluding to the pathetic turn out at our last election...a record low if I'm not mistaken.

It's almost inevitable if Bush wins. There aren't very many more National Guardsmen (Guard
spersons) he can indenture. It's conceivable, although less likely, if Kerry wins, too; Congress (and the general) public may not support a quick pull-out. The war-mongers among us may not be too keen on "violence-interuptus".
Isn't Vote or Die Sean "Puffy" Combs tag line for getting people to vote?
