just wonderin what hip fans are..cat people..or dog people..i'm a cat person myself

I own two cats (or maybe they own me)
Would rather have a dog, but I am too lazy to actually walk it, feed it, play with it, etc.
My cats are fat and lazy like me - my one cat weighs 20 lbs.

Definitely a dog person. Well, Mollie(our dog) doesn't actually think that she's a dog 8)

Cat-dude by default; the Mother-in-Law's moving south and couldn't take her cat so the wife & I kinda had to adopt it. Truth be told, she's one of the coolest pets I've ever had (used to be a dog-dude, had a Schipperke that was awesome) and I'm glad we "had" to take her in.

I'm with Dana, though; I don't currently have the time or ambition for another dog, otherwise I'd get another Schip.

The problem with the simple cat/dog categorization is that I feel that small dogs - poodles, etc. - should be classified as cats. There are dogs and there are real dogs.

I'm a real dog person - we've got a 5 year old Yellow Lab named Madison. Yes, dogs are certainly more work than cats, but its worth it.

i like both for different reasons.

I love both, too, but it boils down to this:

I think cats make excellent indoor pets, but dogs do not. Dogs need space to roam, dirt to dig in, small furry animals to chase, etc.

Of course it's just my opinion, but I think it is unnatural, almost cruel, to confine a dog indoors....

have two cats that are pains n' the ass plus a dog which thinks it is cat likes to sit on your lap and she is over 40lbs

If it's a Katten you want Lance, then try to not fall in love with Mr. Peebles. He's the world's smallest cat. Only 3 lbs. at 2 years old.

I have a cat, and so does my boyfriend and we live together, so I guess I have two cats. I grew up with a dog and a cat and my whole family are animal lovers. My Aunt, Mom's sister, has the chance of becoming the lady who lives in the house in the Poets video.

I'd like to get another dog someday, preferably a black or chocolate lab.

Here's my Brat, Mr Mittens. btw, he came with the name!!!








And my boyfriend's cat Boo Boo, we call her Boo.

I grew up with 6 cats, though we had two dogs, a german retriever and a border collie we named Spooky cause he was scared s***less of thunder. I dont have any pets living with me now but I'll get a cat for sure when I graduate and get my own place. Wendy, is Mr Mittens a Maine Coon? He looks awefully close to my mom's cat Gina.
