Ok so it's less than a month to the show. Let's start to make some plans.

I'm assuming we might get more since there is a month left before the show but I wanted to make sure I had everyone so far. If you want to meet up and (unofficially) represent the hip base and you haven't heard from me, PLEASE let me know. I need to know how to identify you.
I still need to talk to ktown about where, in NL, and when we can meet everyone since she and I are going to the show together. I would like to be there early because I want a good spot up front! We might even try and catch the guys at soundcheck time outside so we can meet them.
I'm also thinking Taco Bell before the show, it's right there about a mile or so down the street.
I was wondering what the rest of you were planning.

Lets meet up at the wood! Ravenswood it's literally 300 yards down the road. We could walk there and back from the parking lot. Nice bar.
got my ticket! even though FYE in colonie center couldn't hook me up, saying they were "locked out" from access through ticketmaster. anyone looking to purchase offline in albany should go to filenes in crossgates. don't know why they have a ticketmaster, since they're upscale clothing, but o well.
i wouldn't mind meeting some hipbasers before the show, but someplace decent, with the option to have a drink.

Boy I sure hope that Sinclair REALLY DOES read this forum, so you can have a shot at Johnny in Clifton Park. Thing is, you're gonna need a ride back:-p I can see it now, The Hip's tour bus coming down main street little adirondack mountain town, NY. :lol:
Maybe we can get them to play one of the bars in town or better yet, the town park. :lol:

I don't even know that lol, I was hoping stuckatcuse and jerremy would know. I live like 80 miles from Clifton Park and I've never been to a show there. As far as I know, Ravenswood is close to the venue and you can walk from there to the show.

Hi guys. Sorry for my hiatus.
Clifton Park is no little Adirondack town. I graduated with over 600 people in my high school class. There are 2 high schools, 3 middle schools and like 10 jr high's. Ravenswood has much better food than taco hell. Everyone raves about their wings (I don't think they're that great.)
You want to take I-87 exit 9W to route 146. Taco bell will be on the right about a 3/4 of a mile or so West. I suggest not eating at taco bell. Go a couple more miles to get to Ravenswood. You'll pass by Moe road, the high school campus, and eventually see signs for a junction with 146A. Ravenswood is on the right located behind an auto service center BEFORE the intersection with 146A. There's a pretty large sign on the right, but you can't see the building from the road. There will be a Cumberland Farms on the left side. Ravenswood is located on the right side just before Cumberland Farms, after the gas station and before 146A. I belive it's the last right before the on-ramp for 146A. It's within walking distance to northern lights. Northen lights is located in a strip mall with a smallish RV/Boat dealer.
