It was the summer; I was burnt out from working too hard for too long. The hip were playing the Molson Amphitheatre, and I was like "meh", whatever. I'll buy the new album and love it, but I'll take a pass on the live, sit-on-the-hill, jostle-with-idiots thing and give 'em a miss this time.

But a scant couple of months later, after letting the drug hit me and letting the tingling begin (conviction + tone = hope) ... I'm all revved up for November 26th and we got a fistful of hip tix and we're gonna tear the ACC down from eye-level down to sea-level!!!!!!

Bring on the idiots and let the jostling begin!! Nothing can dampen my spirits! Even if they played a special two-set "Evening with NOIS and NOIS only".

Chris, you're like my neighbour who put the Halloween decorations out two weeks ago. You've gotten too excited, too early! Now what are you going to do for the next two months? You'll be a ball of nerves by the time that 11/26 rolls around!

what am I gonna do till 11/26?? I dunno, but chances are it'll have a lot of Goodnight Josephine and Mean Streak involved!

I, too, will be at the ACC show in November. The sound of 40 000 people at the Concert for Toronto last June chanting "Hip Hip Hip!!" was enough to make me want to see them at a big venue again. Bring on the Air Canada Centre baby!
