THOSE GOD DAMN SUNS A BITCHES DID IT AGAIN. LAST WEEK WAS EXCUSEABLE BECAUSE IT WAS A NEW VIDEO(SILVER JET). BUT NOW, THIS IS IT, MY FINAL STRAW. I HAVE HAD IT, THEY'VE DISRESPECTED CANADIAN MUSIC TOO MUCH, UNLESS IT'S THE FUCKIN BNL. OR HIPIDDY HOPPIDY SHITE. THE COUNTDOWN IS THE WORST PEICE OF PROGRAMMING EVER. AND NOW THEY DON'T EVEN INCLUDE IT ON THE MMM COUNTDOWN, C'MON.
agreed....very much agreed...
I agree with what Johnny Fay said in an interview back in June, "It's just like when disco was popular, but The Stones still survived". Rock music has it's ups and downs, but it will always have its diehard fans.
Hi there:
I posted a similar letter awhile ago, because I had thought that both Much Music and Much More Music were shutting them down. I can see Much Music...but not MMM. I knew there had to be an explanation.
So I checked out the Hip newsgroup, and from what I read there, it seems as though the one time Much Music showed the video, it was a leaked, unfinished copy.
Supposedly it's supposed to go into rotation sometime next week.
I was lucky enough to see the Silver Jet video when it hit the rotation before it was fininshed.
But my question is: how does someone leak a video thats not fininshed?
"Psst! hey i got a rough copy of the new Hip video! want to play it?"
I downloaded the vid, it's really great. That song is really growing on me after seeing it live.
