LOL!! I saw Gwar years ago in Calgary. The club had plastic sheets covering the walls and the dance floor because of all the fake blood and semen that the band doused the audience with. It was very bizzare, completely over the top, and incredibly stupid all at the same time. In a theatrical sense it was very entertaining, and their costumes were hilarious. Musically they were absolutely terrible. Possibly the worst band I've ever heard. But man, was it ever fun!

I go see them almost everytime they come to town. It's a ritual I have with several Port Hope people. I will be at this show. It will be my 4th time seeing them. They are sick, twisted, vile, and totally hilarious. Their shows are non-stop.
The fact that these guys can even strum a chord in those suits is pretty amazing. Actually, they once opened up for themselves as a band called Ex-Cops, and pulled out an amazing version of "Highway Star". Now, tell me that isn't a difficult song to pull off!
It's totally a fun show.

Yeah, they had this giant penis that they wheeled out on stage which would spray the crowd with fake semen. One guy told us it was milk. My friend and I were in the back for the entire show, so fortunately we didn't get hit with any of the flying fluids. Like I said, it was a very bizarre show.
