The clean shaven Robbie was spoted at Shoeless Joe's downtown in Kingston tonight with entourage (including his wife, Borris, friends, etc). Not sure how many people actually knew it was him sans beard. I'm sure he enjoyed the victory.

Well, for what it's worth, the bearded Robbie was spotted Saturday at Richardson Stadium doing the ceremonial kick-off for the Queen's/Guelph game. The kick was *atrocious* by the way. That would place "The Shave" somewhere between 4pm Saturday and 7pm Sunday--and no, I can't believe how pathetic I am, either. :thumb:

Well... I find this thread to be ten-times more interesting than that one discussing Sulu and Chekhov's (possible) secret romance... how many places can ya hide and 'do the dirty' on a starship with a computer that could find you anywhere at anytime?... how resourceful would ya have to be?...

Too funny! Now *that* is a shrewd piece of detective work. Any other Kingstonians who can give us more info on The Shave? Anyone take a look through his garbage to find The Razor? Anybody know anyone at The Shopper's Drug Mart who may have sold him The Shaving Cream?

"To beard or not to beard?" (I know, I know; how original of me!) I'd say beard. I liked the whole Jesus-looking styling he had going on. I also like Gordie better with a beard, but cutting all his hair off for RA was the best thing he ever did. I think he looks way cooler with none. The other three in the band can do whatever they want...

C'mon, Gordo looked wicked in the RA liner notes....big shaggy hair (but not Paul's 80s "hair metal" mop...that always looked awful) and a full robust beard...Gord's best-looking promo shots ever.

Go for it! Check out the big pic at the back with the band sitting around in lounge chairs...Gord looks stoned beyond belief but he looks great with the hair and beard framing that dopey grin.

Robbie sure looks different and younger without his beard. He still looks 'cool' to me. I can understand he might want to change his look after having his beard for so long.

I have known my wife for 24 years and I have been married for 15 years. I have had a mustache for that whole time. I just always liked the way it looked on me. After some badgering, my wife convinced me to shave it off. I too looked different and younger. I kept it off all summer and grew it back just recently.

It's good to change things up once in a while.
