What a mess. I'm not much of a Bills fan, but I do follow them since they're the closest we have to a Canadian team. Geez, you just new they were going to fall apart. Even at 4th and 1, you new that 46 yard pass was going to be caught. You knew the Jaguars were going to score at 4th and 1 with 2 seconds on the clock. It's aggravating to watch a team self destruct. Week 1? Can't have a better effort than that, with a new coach,playing a non-playoff team?
Too bad the Raiders couldn't pull it off, but at least they gave a hell of an effort.

I'm finding it more difficult to remain a Bills fan. It seems this stuff happens all too often to the Bills. Offensive gameplan was too consertative but STILL, that ball at the end should have been knocked down! Lindell sucks also! Looks like another mediocore year for the Bills.

What with all the heartbreak you've had to endure I can certainly see why that it's the case that you prefer not to remember the past. Maybe if the Bills ever do win a Super Bowl your attitude might change and you'll remember the past fondly instead of trying to obliterate it from your mind. Man, it must be tough being a Bills fan. Is it just me, or are their an inordinate amount of Dolphins fans here? And I imagine there would be a lot more if they were expected to do anything this season.
Thanks for the condolences. Being a fan of the Bills truly is tough. It's just something about the way they lose, like the Norwood fg, the Music City Miracle. At least they got blown out by the Cowboys in those superbowl games and it wasn't on a last second td. I think the Bills just may need a disciplinarian as a coach. I truly believe that they would be a far better team with a Parcells or Belichek (but not Coughlin he's too far out there). Anyway I hope Mularkey does well but I didn't see a real improvement offensively since the team only scored 10 points and Mularkey was brought in for his offensive mind. You can never be very confident being a fan of the Bills, I know that much.
As far as the Dolphins, they are going to start a guy who is a career backup! YIKES! Didn't they trade a 2nd rounder for him? YIKES! Then they trade arguably their best pash rusher (with all due respect to Taylor) for a good but not game changing WR! YIKES! Their stud running back quits on the team so he can smoke pot in peace! YIKES!
Having said all that, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Dolphins have a better record than the Bills. That's how much confidence I have in the Bills right now.
