Just wondering what everybody else thinks is the Hip's best opening song? And while we're at it what is the best song to end a concert on?
For me the best opening song is Grace, Too. Especially when they come out to the recorded drum beat.
As far as a closer, a nice, uptempo rendition of Little Bones helps soften the blow a little when you realize they aren't going to come out for a 3rd (or 4th
) encore.
My Music At Work is a great opener to set the pace of the night. As for closer, I dream of the show they end with Emperor Penguin, though it's been done what, never?

As a closer, I'd like to hear Dark Canuck. The ending kind of brings you back down to Earth, and the last line is really fitting.
