Hey all,

Just wondering who is taping what show, and if they plan on taping Sam Roberts set as well?

Cheers

Pat
I'm going to try and video Kingston, Detroit and Cleveland. I'll definitely record Sam.

Chris, when you talked to Gord S and he indicated that the band has no problem with tapers, did you ask if this would still be the case considering they plan on selling "professional" copies of each show as was done with the Gord Downie tour? That's pretty cool if they'll still allow taping.
Hey Chris, he didn't make any mention of that, nor did I. I asked specifically if I would be able to video tape the aforementioned shows, and he provided an emphatic yes, and echoed that allowing taping has always/will always be the bands policy.
chris........
your making me want to go to the cleveland show knowing you'll do a fine job on the video end. do you feel the pressure of replicating the "greatness" of the wasaga video?? if it doesn't measure up to "wasaga" will the whispers of "one hit wonder" echo in your mind as you fall into the bottom of one of those fine canadian beers??
{these thoughts were brought on by my lame ass american budweiser as i "prepare" for the Allman brothers show today}
Ha Ha Ha!

No pressure here. I just completed a Sloan DVD from their performance at Golfapalooza. Having another completed show under my belt has provided me just enough confidence to knock a couple outta the park with Detroit and Cleveland.

Sloan DVD B&P is open to any and all that are interested. PM me.

If anyone is interested, my roadtrip team and I are making tour shirts. Cost will be about $20 CDN or $15 USD.
Sweet looking shirt! Now, if you'd add Chicago to the tour dates hehe Wink

Walking in like you own the place is not the right attitude... but being upfront with the security staff has been successfull for me. :thumb:
thanks... I didn't mean to come off like a sarcastic ass... I'm just not sure if you guys have like actual 'video passes' or what, ya know?...

I guess it wouldn't hurt to try... I'll take it with me next show...if all else fails, I just take it back to the truck...

thanks.
Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that you were an ass.

No taper passes or anything special. In Detroit I verified that the gear would be allowed in early in the afternoon with a road manager for The Hip. Even with that verification, we still had to get security at the door to confirm that we were allowed in. They called through on their walkie talkies (I like those words) and then everything was fine.

Good luck and have fun!
