Will there be a new video from IBE? I mean, really, if there is no airplay on our "nations music station (god damn, I hate muchmusic)", is there really any reason for the Hip to make a new video? Its about publicity and I can't see any reason why the Hip would spend tens of thousands of dollars making a video when it won't even be aired... if they do though, I wouldn't mind seeing Gus: The Polar Bear from Central Park (with, of course, a cameo by Gus himself)... I feel they did everything 'right' with this album (except, of course, the webmaster dude at thehip.com), and I would hate to see this album turn into a one video monstrosity like Music@Work...
Well, like you said why make a video if it won't get aired. Why would a music station play the Hip when they can flog the new Simple Plan or Britney or Ashlee Simpson or Ja Rule or show Jessica Simpson struggling for dear life to learn how to use a washing machine? Or Three Days Grace or Nickelback or any of the other 30 or so clones in Canada.
I've seen about ten minutes of Much Music the past week and that's ten minutes I can never get back! Much More Music had a sweet Queen concert airing the last few days though. People can laugh all they want but Queen were a good band! "Fat Bottomed Girls you make the rocking world go round!"
Maybe the Hip could do another vid with Ricky, Julian , and Bubbles. Maybe Gus and get Bruce Mccullough's (SP?) screwed up mind to think up a scenario involving Sunnyvale's finest and the polar bear!
"A trailer park is no place for a kitty" turns into "Central park is no place for a polar bear" I like it.
I'd like to see a new Hip video but VS didn't get that much airplay so I doubt the Hip's management would flip the pape for the tape to do a second one. Even though the music industry does (hopefully) seem to be changing and alot more "artists" seem to be taking over, it's still befuddled with all this pop shit... I doubt there will be a second Hip video...
looks like the record company may have or is gonna give up on the hip its sad
but i havent seen much promotion of the new album in a while well since the release much music not promoting them radio sure isnt thats why the hip need a street team to do the promoting to the fans who do it best look at hipbase

So against all logic (in my head at least, with the non-TTH content on Much) they're making a new video for "It Can't Be Nashville Everynight"... any thoughts on what we'll be seeing? I'm forecasting a complete live video... but as is often the case there will probably be an enclosed theme to dwell upon... If I think live videos I think (concurrently at least) Something On and Silver Jet... probably along the same lines ya' think?

It was filmed at the Bathouse, so what could it be really? footage of them hanging out, playing pool, fake recording the song? who knows.
They should have gone down to Nashville or something, and walked around the streets.
We do not see hip videos in the states. I would love if somebody would put together a tape of all their videos. I would pay top dollar or trade some of my bootlegs. I will be in Cleveland tommarrow, Syracuse on thursday, and Rochester and Clifton Park in October if anyone can help a hip head out.

i an issue(sept 10) of the Queen's Journal, an article on tomsett states in the second last paragraph:

Did anyone ever buy the enhanced CDs with the videos on them? (for EP to TATH, if I recall correctly). I'm a bit tempted, but they're always so expensive. (whereas the regular older albums now sell for about $7.99 in HMV's daily fire sales).

nah...its a great single.
Like not my favourite on the album, but for a non-hip fan...most likeable, by far.
