i didn't buy my wife anything special.
i did get her a nice floral arrangement while she was still in the hospital

my wife did tell me but i heard it on regis and kelly she asked charlie sheen if he got his wife a gift he said yes
she is due the end of january we find out tomorrow what we will be having

Well that's Charlie Sheen. He probably got the new mom five or six ounces instead of the usual two.
Seriously, I never heard about gifts for your own wife. It's always nice to make a difference like with flowers but that's for other people to give you guys...it seems strange to associate the birth of a child with buying your wife some material goods.

Seems to me that it would just be the respectable thing to do( in hindsight it would have been a nice thing to do in my case) I never did get the woman a gift but I am VERY appreciative that she brought forth our kidz into this world healthy and with no complications during the delivery. That's like thee most hardest thing to do, nothing else comparez.Gotta give it up for the ladiez for that! And we as men really should at the very least get them a little something to show our gratitude.
get her a stress ball to squeeze for when she's having the kid, seriously, otherwise she'll crush every single bone in your hand!
Oh how exciting...you get to find out the sex of the baby...so give it up, what is it going to be?? My husband and I are trying to get pregnant now...I hope to know in another week or so if we have been blessed or not!!
How about, as a gift, those cute little coupons (even if you make them yourself) good for stuff like one night's sleep, a massage while you watch the baby, etc... things like that really mean a lot to a new mother who is really, really, really, really tired!!
