I was just browsing the Ticketswest.com site looking for info on the Oct. 11th Hip show in Spokane. (for some reason they're not using ticketmaster for the Seattle and Spokane shows). So I click on the Hip link and it says that tickets don't go on sale until this Friday (Aug. 27). A few minutes later I clicked on it again and suddenly it asks me for a password. So immediately I'm thinking to myself "is this the HipClub pre-sale??" I quickly checked the Hip's site, but it still says "tba" beside the Spokane date. So out of curiosity I tried the password given to us in the last HipClub e-mail and sure enough it worked. I now have 4 tickets for the gig in Spokane. The weird part is that now when you click on the Hip link, an error message keeps popping up and it won't even give you the regular info. It's very weird. Maybe there isn't any pre-sale at all and I just happened to luck out due to some glitch in their system.
Anyway, here's the link: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.ticketswest.com/TW/search/EventsByCity.asp?City=spokane&State=WA">http://www.ticketswest.com/TW/search/Ev ... e&State=WA</a><!-- m -->
Scroll down the page a bit and under the heading "rock music" click on the Tragically Hip link. Are the rest of you getting the same error message??
Damn.
Too bad it is general admission.
A glitch in the system last tour is how we all got great seats to Syracuse.
I should also add that I have yet to receive an e-mail from the HipClub regarding the Seattle/Spokane shows, so if this was indeed the pre-sale, then they sure didn't tell us about it.
I am getting the same error.
I hope they fix it!!
I found if I add a 1 to the end of the URL I get a password box, but then I get a 550 error from there.
Guess I will have to wait.
They just fixed it... Get your tickets now!!!

I just checked the link again, and the same error message keeps coming up. What a freakin' gong show. If they don't fix this thing soon, it's gonna cause a lot of headaches for other Hip fans trying to log on. I've already fired off an e-mail to the Hip explaining the problem. Hopefully they'll have it fixed by the public on-sale date. I still have no idea how I managed to get tickets. I guess I was just in the right place at the right time.
:mrgreen:
I got an email back. They mentioned that I might have my browser security set too high, seems strange to me.
In firefox it has problems, but in IE it seems to work ok.
He did mention that they are on sale for pre-sale so there is no glitch there. Strange no email from the hip club. I also asked about Seattle but he had no dates on that yet.
I am looking at doing the Portland, Seattle and then Spokane that weekend. Should be fun

I was hoping to do the same trip, but I couldn't get the extra time off work, so unfortunately it'll just be Spokane for me. I did manage to catch their fanclub show at the Whiskey in Calgary back in June, so that kinda makes up for it. See ya in Spokane!
