Does anyone know if this concert is general admision, or is it when u buy the tickets, they just assign u a seat. I'm just wondering b/c alot of my buddies wanna go, and I don't want to have to be responsible for purchasing all those tickets. Therefore, if it was general admission, each person can get there own, but if they assign seat numbers, then one person has to get all the ticks in order to get the seats together. Can someone help in this dillema? Thanks All
I think it's general admission..you know, the more seats they have, the more can get stolen...
I'm hoping it is- It has a seating chart, and its not a club like the odeon, etc. Its almost like a theatre where musical would be put on.
The Detroit show is not GA. All seats are assigned. The venue holds 5000 people and has a balcony. It is very beautiful and ornate. Mike Illitch bought it and sunk a small fortune into it to renovate it to its original glory. The 9 floors of offices above The Fox Theater are the headquarters of Illitch Enterprises (Little Ceasers Pizza, The Detroit Red Wings, The Detroit Tigers... among many other holdings). Illitch built Coamerica Park, where the Tigers play, directly across the street from the theater. The sound in the theater is awesome. The Hip couldn't of picked a better venue to play at then this one!

Detroit is not the best place in the world, I realize that. We're trying to improve things around here. I don't appreciate the "low blow" that was thrown at my hometown.
i was just in detroit two weeks ago. Buffalo is like Paris compared to Detroit! the ballpark is nice but the team sucks.
Anyone from the London area want to do a road trip? All of my friends are too cheap, or underappreciate the Hip.
A good road-trip could be just the thing...

There's still one seat open in my car....

It took me forever to get tickets for Detroit this morning. I ended up with M6 row BB. All the floor tickets were off to the sides. But from the balcony, I should be able to get a great video.

yeah, i got section F6, row T, seats 601..607
fricken stupid system wouldn't let me get anything better, just kept bringing up the same bloody tickets and I didn't want to sit in the mezzanine because i saw coldplay from there and they were tiny, with a cam you'll probably get a good angle. I would have prefered F3-F4, but I don't have all day to wait for the system to spit out rows AA and on...
Did anyone get any tickets A-Z in these rows???????????

Yeah Detroit's a crack-hoe-ghetto-dive but that's what gives it its "charm" right? That big deserted building you see when coming across the bridge is going to be the new Deee-troit Poe-leeese headquarters. That'll be cool. 8)
