For those of you who've followed the Whorella soap opera over the years, she's now begun to actually reply to on-topic posts over at the NG, and is claiming she'll be in Syracuse!
I don't know whether to be kinda intrigued or really, really afraid.
Could be fun.
Gibby, I dare ya to buy her a beer!
Be afraid....be very, very afraid...........
Makes me kinda want to stay home and read about it the next morning...

I just pictured all of us staying home out of fear and the boys playing to an empty room with Whorella in the middle of it!

How Fitting! Run Gordie, RUN!!
can someone please tell me her story?
is she really as fucked up as she appears to be online?
OMG! Mark to tell her story would take waayyyyyyyyyyyy to long. If anyone would like to try i would love to hear her story in 100 words or less....lol...if not just check out the newsgroup alt.music.tragically.hip there may be some old posts of hers......honestly i would love to meet her...(for a minute or so)...Cheers
100 words? I can do it in two:
SHE'S
NUTS.
I went to a show in Pittsburgh a couple years ago and Whorella was there.
I wrote her before the show and she gave me Pittsburgh info.
Never ran into her at the show.
I would probably still be there listening to her if I did.
And as far as I remember, nobody was reported missing from that show.

That's just about the kindest way it could be put. I'd use the term: "self-involved, navel gazing, self-righteous, blowhard with zero social skills".
Mind you, I think that's the same term Stephen Dame would use to describe me.

Your mom is a smart woman. Everyone should be a Victor Newman fan. Who doesn't want his life? He's as famous in business circles as Bill Gates or Warren Buffett, but he never has to work. He pretty much spends all day trying to protect his family, whatever that means. He's got more ex-wives than Billy Bob Thornton, but they are still pining for him. He slaps around his biggest rival (Jack Abbott) like the Leafs slap around the Sens when it gets to crunchtime. And best of all? If anyone starts to question his strength, he puts in a sweaty round with the punching bag with a tight black wife-beater shirt and we are all reminded of his grit and intestinal fortitude. In other words, Victor Newman is THE MAN. If I was Victor Newman, the Hip would be putting on a private show for my friends and I at the ranch every six months.
Yes, I'm a 32 year old with a fulltime job. Some habits one picks up while at university are tough to break.....
