I just noticed my member status changed from what it's been forever to "Sherpa"...is that new? Or have I just been unawares? I looked in "forum news" and saw no mention of any changes to member status...so what are the new designations? Will it change when I reach 1000? I kinda don't want it to...."Sherpa" is a darn cool title!

Good to know nonetheless, "for the record". I have been active on the board for two weeks now since I spent the summer out west and I can't believe I never noticed the change before.

I'd rather be a Sherpa than a Daredevil, but I'd rather be a Completist than either of them. Just goes to show you how many people are accruing posts at such a rapid rate!

Was I oblivious to your presence or were you not your present "speed freak" poster through most of your tenure on this board? Since I got back and have been reviewing the threads, it seems to me you just popped up over the summer...but it seems you've been around over a year. I certainly can't recall seeing your avatar much before the summer.

I joined back in July 03 and didn't post at all for a year...
mostly read posts and logged onto the FTP...
My first post was something like April of this year...

I didn't want to just come in and start talking about stuff without knowing anyone on the board and then I figured, "well, how will I know anyone if I don't post?" so I just started up.

Started with the lyrics actually and then became insanely addicted to the forum

Now no one will be able to get rid of me...

Oh, I wouldn't say that with such certainty...I know a few people who could get the job done
