Ever wonder what the other songs from the show sounded like?
Below are the songs that were left off the live album, 4 in the main set and the whole encore. Thugs and Everytime would be so cool to hear.
Oh well.

700 ft. ceiling
daredevil
flamenco
escape
---
thugs
everytime you go
fire in the hole
----
locked
bones
Wonder why they cut it short? They should have made it a double disc!!
They said they didn't want to make it a double disk, so they decided to cut out some of the songs....
Oh man. You just ruined Live Between Us for me.
Why would they cut out Thugs and Daredevil and Fire In the Hole and Everytime You Go? Were the songs played poorly live? Replace Springtime, The Luxury, Don't Wake Daddy and Scared! I like these songs but not as much as the ones left off.
this has always upset me..the difference between the hip and pearl jam, although i like the hip more, is that PJ would have released the entire show

That's probably true today, but in '98 Pearl Jam put out an album very similar to Live Between Us called "Live on Two Legs" which was recorded in Washington, D.C. The disc is 16 tracks long. I believe there were about 8 songs that ended up being cut from that particular show in order to make it a single disc.
Isn't there a bootleg of the show "out there" ??
yes
Yeah, I have the full show on tape somewhere. Like a couple of my cds, it's "between houses" right now. When it is found however, we'll see what we can do.

The recording isn't the greatest, but it's still cool, because it is everything, even the part after Gift Shop where Gord tells the crowd how cool it is for them to be playing in such a great arena. Hearing "Stereo" or Escape in such a setting is nice too. It actually made me really angry when I first got the tape that I didn't go to the MLG show in grade 9.

Cheers

not true... Live on Two Legs was compiled of songs from the whole '98 tour. Each song was from different shows. they were not all taken from the Washington concert. thats why the album was called live on "two legs", as in the two legs of the tour. Pearl jam woulda released the entire concert as a whole if thats how it was choosing to release one particular show.

oh yeah. there has been for quite some time now.
I guarantee it's somewhere but now ya got me interested from mentioning it. I now have a mission!
Wow, yeah, I dont think I can listen to that disc anymore...what were they thinking!? You cant cut and paste a concert. I say its all or nothing...context is oh so important.
Somewhere in the hip vault there must be the entire concert right from the soundboard to the multitrack. I can only guess that the songs left off LBU were in fact full of mistakes, wrong/forgotten lyrics, or maybe tech problems.

Maybe, just maybe us diehard hip fans will be treated to a big ole' box set some day including those songs...etc.
