The hip have historically rotated between two or three different opening songs on each tour... most likely Vaccination Scar will be one of them, what do you think the other may be once the tour starts?
I know they opened with Heaven at the very first club show, but then stopped so it probably didn't work too well... my bet is either Nashville or maybe Heart (think that would be a great opener).

Nashville/Grace
Heaven/Grace
I'd be happy with that.
Nashville would be a GREAT opener in my opinion.
For some reason I hear "Heart of the Melt" as a killer opener.

'Melt' strikes me as more climax than opener. Something to bring down the house and 'leave 'em wanting more.'
'Scar' is a natural opener, both 'cos its a single and sets the right up-tempo, high energy tone. And the lyric---'So the chemistry's set!'--works perfectly, really. :thumb: Even if it isn't the best tune on the CD.

Gcare Too/VS/SIKU/ are your best bets, they like playing those early for some reason...
I've noticed on tours, it's usually one or two songs from the new cd, then Grace. Especially if it's a 2 day stop in a city, say Hamilton, Toronto, etc..I could see VS/Grace, SIKU/Grace, but by the time they hit Canada in November, it could be whatever new song has been released to radio, possibly Nashville/Grace. But, one off concerts (ie. Edgefest, Skydome, etc..) you'll get Grace, and nobody should complain about that
the first time i saw them they opened with Fully Completely :mrgreen:
Poets is a good opener also. I like the openers that build in excitement like Grace and Gift.
The other openers I've seen them do are: Planet, Something, Fireworks, Music, Put if Off, Silver Jet, VS. I think that's all of them.
The best one is Grace, Gift, Poets and Silver Jet are good also.
I never liked Fireworks as an opener, no build up. VS actually worked quite good but I would like it better as the 2nd song I think.
Grace gets everyone in the groove.
My Music @ Work is an excellent opener.

Courage would be a good opener, but nothing could ever beat opening with At The Hundredth Meridian *dooounh doooounh*
