No cable? No problem. The Daily Show airs on CTV at 12:05am every night.
Just like his appearances on Letterman, Clinton came off extremly intelligent, very charming... and just a little uncomfortable in the setting.
He did however make a great point about Bush's latest ad's and complimented Stewart about his "riff" (He's still a Sax player folks...) on Bush using fake anit-Kerry testimonials in his new campaign.
One of the highlights came when Bill and Jon were talking about Haliburton, their untendered contracts in Iraq and their off-shore subsidiary that does business with Iran.
Stewart: "I mean, why isn't this a bigger issue... And when you hear stuff like this, do you ever think "Travelgate? Are you fff.. kidding me?"
Has anybody noticed the Hippie bracelet Bubba's been wearing on his right wrist? It really stands out from his suits, and I figure it's either from his daughter or one of his uh... lady friends on the book tour.

And I should mention, for those with cable:
Jon Stewart will be the guest of Howard Dean (Dean is filling in for the regular host) on CNBC tonight at 8pmET. The promo they're running consists of Stewart saying things like: "Are you gunna do The Scream?"

CNBC? What show is it, so I can look and see if we get it here? I'm pretty sure we don't get CNBC...but I'd love to check this out.
Gotta feel sorry for ol' Dean...Republicans have started calling him "Howard the F*uck" after that outer space duck movie.

I can't remember the exact story, but the braclet was a gift from a class of underprivelaged kids that Clinton sort of adopted in a Central American country.
It has some sort of sappy meaning and said he vowed to always wear it.

Ah cool... thanks. Now that you mention it, I recall hearing the story somewhere.
And for those of you hoping for Jon Stewart on CNBC, sorry to report: It didn't happen. I checked MSNBC to see if I had the wrong network, but nothing on there either. I think it might be a rotating segment, rather than a whole show since there's nothing the electronic guide.
Anybody have any luck seeing this?
And GT, I get CNBC on channel fifty-something as part of my regular Rogers cable package, and MSNBC as part of a special digital ("We're gunna take yer money, and yer gunna like it") package. No idea if that's the same nationwide. The original ad had Dean filling in for a female anchor whose name escapes me.

Got it... I just saw a little pop-up ad during John McEnroe's show.
It's on CNBC (Channel 57 here in the capital) in fifteen minutes. 11pm ET.
It's called "Topic A with Tina Brown" and I'm guessing Dean is hosting the whole show. Stewart is scheduled to be the guest... even though the TV guide lists "The Restaurant" in that time slot.
We'll see...
