To explain the categories...

1. USA, The West - includes the states of Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Idaho and Hawaii and Alaska

2. USA, The Rockies - includes the states of Utah, Colorodo, Wyoming

3. USA, The Southwest - includes the states of Arizona, New Mexico, Texas

4. USA, The Plains - includes the states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Montana

5. USA, The Midwest - includes the states of Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio

6. USA, The Southeast -includes the states of Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, N. Carolina, S. Carolina, Kentucky

7. USA, The East - includes the states of Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York

8. USA, The Northeast - includes the states of Vermont, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, Massachussetts

9. CAN, The West - includes the provinces of B.C. and Alberta

10. CAN, The Prairies - includes the provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan

11. CAN, The Central - includes the provinces of Ontario and Quebec

12. CAN, Atlantic Canada - includes the provinces of NB, NS, NFLD, PEI

13. CAN, The North - includes the territories of NWT, Yukon, Nunavut

14. OTHER (Sorry, but for the sake of space, everywhere but CAN and USA goes here)

Not on the list? Then I have failed.

I think "The East" is usually labeled "The Mid-Atlantic". Am I wrong? Is that a weird Delaware thing? I'm confused It's too early for a Saturday.

Doesn't the Mid-Atlantic also include the Carolina's?

Wha? No, I mean they're Territories. Although the Yukon might be a Province this time next year, so maybe you're just more prescient than I.

No problem, I hate making errors in stuff I write anyway. But thinking about it; how many people are even from up.. what is it, north of the 49 I think? Maybe towards the capitals but I don't think they run phone lines across the tundra. Maybe satellite? Regardless... :thumb:

i always thought north of the 49th included most of Canada...

er, meant north of 60... still half-asleep i guess
