The game actually comes out on wednesday but somebody put it out on torrent site and some newgroups. Its estimated that over 50,000 copies of the game have been downloaded. Therefore ID (the company who made the game) has lost nearly $3,000,000 so far. With word getting even farther out theres no telling when the downloading will stop. ( the downloading started yesterday morning!) people have said how great the game is, and that it could redefine a generation of first person shooters!

Sure close napster, but its ok to download video games. (which cost alot, core then a freakin cd)

Im sure most, okay maybe half of them are people who just want to play the game and can't get it from a retail store just yet. Mainly European players who don't get the game till the 13th of August.
