As a kid growing up in T.O., the Ex ads in mid-August usually signalled that "Back To School" would soon be Killing Us.
Yet, yesterday I saw TWO "Back To School" ad's within an hour... it's still July for Gord's sake!
Summer's just don't seem as long as they used to...

I was just at JoAnn Fabrics this morning, and noticed all the Halloween and autumn goodies out - from the yard and door decorations to the freakin' Halloween candy for cryin' out loud! It's tooo eaaaaarly!!

I was in the mall today and there was a HUGE section of needless Halloween stuff. Ghost socks, pumpkin lights, bats the fly in circles and drive cats crazy... I just don't understand the point in rushing the seasons. I also saw all these back to school items like notebooks and pencil cases on sale at CVS. That bothered me that back to school stuff was already on clearance. I'll bet that they roll out the Valentine's Day candy soon. :lol:

actually walmart started to set up back to school section here 3 weeks ago
. Might as well set it up the day after school ends!
