I agree, I'm not sure who we're fooling here, the hip have been around for nearly 20 years.....although they don't make a ton of money off of the cd's the touring is where the money is at...let's just take ontario for example.....they usually play toronto 2 times at the acc, usually hamilton at least 1 night, and ottawa at least 1 night perhaps 2.....if they played 5 shows at roughly 18,000 x $35 = that's 3.15 million ok sure they have to pay crew, mgmt, promoters, fees, you name it but don't tell me that they're not all millionaires, how they choose to spend their money is another thing, but all of them except for gord still live in kingston, and gord's house is nothing spectacular, it's no mansion.
