Anyone heard of these guys? I saw em up in Big River at the Ness Creek Music Fest. They are incredible definitely worth seeing. I think they are from ontario somewhere.

Does anyone know their taping policy? Do they have one? They are supposed to be coming to the folk fest out here and I would love to tape their set. I think one way or another it will get done but if the band is ok with it even better.

Caught them on Saturday when they opened for the boys and David Go-Go. Pretty interesting show... "There's a Higher Power" is almost comical in its evangelical glory, and that song with the melodic screaming certainly allow these guys to stand out.

Solid stage show. I'd say the taping policy, as with most bands at their level, is "please."

Maybe I'm just stating the obvious, but in the off chance that I'm not...the Sadies is actually the side project for Greg Keelor co-lead singer of another GREAT Canadian band that some of you may have heard of ....Blue Rodeo

Caught them in Ottawa and Sudbury as well. Definitely doesn't have the same intensity live as the Hip do, but all in all a great band that plays incredible music.

This is incorrect. Greg does have a band WITH the Sadies, but they are called The Unintended. The Sadies are the brainchild of Dallas and Travis Good (the offspring of the famed Good Brothers).

Gord recorded a session on the Fuse, its available somewhere for download, with them about two years ago and eluded to the Sadies having opened more Hip shows then any other band they've taken on with them.
