Just scored backstage passes for Darien Lake......can't wait.

Can anybody fill me in on the "backstage experience"?
Congrats! How'd you get 'em? Radio station?
If Gord doesn't get his bowl of yellow, peanut M&M's: All hell breaks loose.

Also, when Johnny asks your girlfriend if she's the "stick inspector" just tell her to say no.

A very wealthy friend who spends obscenely large sums of money at the Niagara Falls Casino asked the pit boss about any “possible passes” a month ago and the pit boss arranged for their delivery. I’m just the beneficiary of said wealthy friends gambling habits and the perks therein.
We were able to score backstage passes on the last tour, as a good friend of ours is a golf pro at one of the posch country clubs. He has more again this for this on Friday night, as he's informed us, so maybe we'll see you backstage on Friday, Rich3677!!

I know this sounds stupid, but what can you actually do and see.

You lucky lucky bastard. Would it be to much for me to ask you to pass on a message from me to Gord?
Kidding of course.

I feel compelled to let you know that the last Darien Lake show was the crappiest backstage experience I've ever heard of, or been witness to. Long story short, no food, no drink, the cooler with pop/juice was guarded by security(!), and it was around 2 hours before the guys came back (and not all of them came). Darien has a permanent hospitality area set up for "meet and greet" type things, where the band can chill. It is separate from the band trailers/showers/etc. We were thirsty, starving, and Jeff only wanted to see Robby, who never came. The bands' families were back there with us, getting very bored themselves.
That said, other times in other places it has been the "experience of a lifetime", and many people have many great stories. I would think with a show in Sudbury the next night, the band will not be tarrying. If you don't have to wait too long, it should be fun regardless of refreshments. Gord D. is always good for a quote, so be ready with something to say!
The backstage experience wasn't bad for me last time at Darien...I mostly wanted to see Gord D, which was accomplished...but after about 90 minutes of waiting. Still, in order to see the guys and talk much easier, waiting by their buses after a small venue show is still the way to go, in my two cents.
