I play guitar, I live in Mississauga.
I'm thinking that there's alot of cool songs that I can play that I don't think the Hip will be performing anytime soon like 'Everytime you Go' ect.
Anyone else play guitar? drums? sing?

I had a bit of a band when I lived in Mtl but I can't really write original music. I've played for 15 years and have alot of nice equipment.
I just don't play very much since I moved here, I thought it would be cool to get together with others who like the same music.

Cool cool, I'd cover a couple Hip songs, I have in the past, but I wouldn't devote the entire band to it. It's cool though. I can write mad lyrics but I can't write music. If ya gave me the music I could make you a millionaire.... Wanna buy a song? :wink:
anybody ever get to see the cover band Road Apples? i remember they played one night in vancouver after a hip show, and it was like seeing 2 hip shows in the same night!! man they kicked ass, ranting included!!

Nope... 'n I haven't seen the Practically Hip yet either. Every time they're playing somewhere close by, I'm busy. What do people think of them?

I can play guitar.. I mostly play the Hip, but I haven't been playing very long... I'm okay, rhythm only though, and I'm in Bradford... But I work at Mississauga & Eglinton...
Plus I'm a lefty... Hehe..

I saw them a couple times in London. I was really impressed with them. I bought their CD of originals (they were called Vagabond Groove when they did their own tunes) and really liked it, but someone stole it on me and I've never seen it available anywhere.
I've seen another Hip cover band play at a party, but I don't remember which one it was (Practically Hip, Completely Hip...?)

I saw them, they used to play in Kingston alot when I was there. I must admit, they did a pretty good job. Are they still around?
